Hello Anastasia! I thought I should let you know what kind of progress I've made in finding a Russian wife. I have been writing to Oksana Gestova, who lives in Komsnolsk-on-Amur, for about a year. In September, I flew to her town to meet her. We spent 2, 5 weeks together. She graciously consented to marry me. We tried to get married in Russia, but could not because of a 30 day waiting period. I have sent her the forms for a fiancee visa, and am waiting to get them back. I am quite happy with this young lady. She is 20, I am 48. She's intelligent, serious minded, shy and honest. She is very close to her mother who is a retired medical doctor. I offered to bring her mother to America, although some American men may cringe at this, I think it is a good idea. I get along well with her mother, and her mother, I learned, played quite a role behind the scenes as matchmaker.
I suspect Oksana will be in Alaska in a couple of months. If all goes well. I'll let you know when we get married. I think you did a great thing in helping me find a suitable wife. I love this girl very much. I believe she loves me as well.
