Hi Anastasiaweb! This is a letter I have been wanting to write for some time. Almost a year has passed since I joined your site, and it was perhaps the most important decision of my life. So many positive events have been made possible by your organization!
At present I am engaged to be married in June to Anna, a very attractive young lady I have been most fortunate to meet in person because of you. I have visited cities I probably would not have otherwise because of membership on your correspondence site and have seen so many fascinating sights and spectacularly historic structures because of joining the site. Most importantly, though, I have met Anna, my future wife to be.
I went through the email-writing process as many members of Anastasiaweb do, but actually decided quite early on that Anna was the woman I really wanted to meet. The letters she wrote had a very special life quality to them, which from her second letter drew me to her.
Our first telephone conversation was mostly composed of giggles by Anna, so it was a very interesting experience. It did not take long to decide that a visit to Russia was in order.
I made the journey to Saint Petersburg in January and found Anna to really exceed all my expectations! Her family and all the people I met were most hospitable, and I had a fantastic time. My journey included a trip to Tallinn, a very popular city in Estonia. I met all of Anna's family, and we had just a great time. We hit it off very well from the start. Getting to Saint Petersburg was a story in itself (weather delays, missed connecting flights!).
I asked Anna to marry me on my parents' wedding anniversary (Jan. 13) and she accepted! We are in the "waiting for her visa" phase and soon she will be here (hopefully June!). You are all invited to the wedding, as you have made it possible!!!
