A typical situation in the life of a 40+ woman: her husband has left her for a young girl. Psychologists might explain everything and present the natural development of male physiology and psychology as an excuse. And yet, just think of those women. They loved, they had a great life, brought up children - and got betrayed in such a terrible way. How is one supposed to survive that?
 It was a Saturday in the end of summer. A lady asked me to meet her. "Only eye-to-eye. I need nothing, just to speak my mind." The voice sounded desperate. When we met, she turned out to be an attractive middle-aged blonde. "You are my last hope, I am on the verge of a nervous breakdown. I have abased myself for more than a year now in desperate attempts to save my family. At last I understood that I could hardly bear the struggle anymore. At night I keep thinking that my life is over, I am an old woman and only my son is a reason to live on. Never mind me, I feel so ashamed of my husband's behavior when it comes to my son. Help me to switch my attention to something else." - she pleaded me.

The lady went abroad three times to meet different men, however, correspondence is one thing and life is something else. It was either that she didn't like the man, or he didn't like her. Her accounts sounded humorous and light, and it was clear that the deep wound had healed and her heart was open for new passion. That was just what happened after the fourth meeting. Michael was somewhat older, took a great interest in business and had no time to create a family yet. The encounter with Mara gave birth to a feeling and contributed to the creation of a full-fledged family. They have been together for five years now, and I keep getting thank-you letters from Seattle.
