Jerry and Tatyana married on December 31st, 2000. Recently, they took the time to share their story with other Anastasiaweb Members:

What led the two of you to try using Anastasiaweb?
Jerry: I was curious about Russian women, what they were like. What their values were compared to American women.
Tatyana: I felt lonely and wanted to create a family.

What initially attracted you to each other?
Jerry: Her personality and her blonde hair and blue eyes. A great sense of humor and eagerness to please me.
Tatyana: Jerry's kindness and decency is what attracted me to him.

Can you tell us a little about your courtship process?
Jerry: We met in October (2000) after a flow of emails and had a very pleasant time; in between we talked on the phone a lot. We met again in Illinois and once again in Missouri at Thanksgiving. We were undecided at certain times about marriage. Then in December I asked Tatyana to marry me.
Tatyana: During our December we realized that we loved each other. We got married on December 31st, 2000 and we are incredibly happy together.

How, when & where did the marriage proposal occur?
Jerry: I proposed to Tatyana on the telephone while I was at home on the 18th December. She was visiting a friend in Kansas.
Do you have any advice for others who want to try using Anastasiaweb?
Tatyana: Be patient and don't lose hope in finding your happiness. Write emails, learn English and reply to each man who seems to be serious and with the similar interests.

Additional note to Anastasiaweb Members: Tatyana's daughter is also married to an American man she met through Anastasiaweb several years ago.
