I just returned from St. Petersburg. I have never had more fun in my life and the entire group of American men I was with also shared that sentiment. I am at a complete loss to understand how St. Petersburg has so many beautiful women. After experiencing the sheer number of women in St. Petersburg, I doubt that I will ever look at an American woman again.
The hardest thing about the entire experience was having to disappoint several of the sweetest ladies that I have ever known.
I spent most of my time with 3 ladies, all of whom I met through you Website and with whom I had substantial e-mail and telephone time before I went to St. Petersburg. The socials were certainly the most interesting parties that I have ever attended. I am struggling to try to describe them to my friends back home, I think I will just keep my mouth shut because no one would believe me anyway.
On the serious side, one lady completely stole my heart. The lady that I asked to marry me and who said yes is from Poltava in the Ukraine. She is without question the sweetest, most compassionate and beautiful woman that I have ever known. Her beauty is of such magnitude that she will cause traffic accidents in Kansas City.
Buying an engagement ring in St. Petersburg when I don't speak any Russian and the clerk didn't speak any English was quite an experience. Thank God for a very kind Jewish businessman from Tel Aviv who spoke both English and Russian. I managed to get a 1 carat rock of extremely high quality that would have cost twice as much in the US. The lady accepted my proposal and now we are focusing on getting her to the US.
One the reason that I went to Russia is to learn first hand exactly how blessed that I am to live in the USA. I have never traveled abroad (except for some Caribbean fun) and this is the first time that I experienced how most of the people in the world live their lives. I cannot even begin to describe the profound sense of thanks that I now have for being an American. Even though I had a wonderful amount of fun in St. Petersburg, I looked around very carefully and did not like most of what I saw. I kissed the ground at JFK airport when I arrived.
